S2 E Type spin-on oil filter adaptor
Installation instructions

Congratulations on purchasing your spin-on oil filter conversion kit. The following instructions should assist you (or your chosen professional repair facility) to install the conversion quickly and effectively.

S2 E Type kit - as supplied	Threaded bushing


What you will see when you remove the original filter housing - plate A must be removed	Removing plate A


Remove old 'O Ring'	Install new 'O Ring'


Use new adaptor block to gently seat new O Ring	Install threaded bushing - initially by hand


Use vice grips on collar to firmly seat bushing	Slide new adaptor block over threaded bushing


Install 1 1/8" nut (initially by hand) to secure housing	Tighten with deep socket to about 15 ft/lbs


How it should look prior to installing the filter element	Install the filter element (by hand)
