6 Hr Historic Races - Spa, Belgium
September 2003

The E Type will have more HP for next year!
The following report was submitted by Dallas Murray

We just finished running the enduro at Spa in Belgium.

Frank Williams (Danville, CA), Daniel Spaini (Geneva, Switzerland) and Denis Langer (Austria) shared driving duties. They started 64th of 82 and finished in 36th place after 6 hours of hard fast driving. Not bad for a 35 year old car (full race suspension and brakes) with a 22 year old rock stock motor (we just rolled in a new set of bearings and replaced the oil pump before the race). We were able to out brake most of the other Jags by about 50 feet and could make it through the turns faster but due to the lack of HP we got passed of the straights.

I have been building a new Full Race motor and hope to have it completed by years end and shipped to Geneva by early 2004 for 2 or 3 races in the midyear.
