It is with great sadness that I learned this morning of the death of my friend, Michael Spiers of Glencoe, Illinois. Still horribly young, Michael passed away on March 13th after an extremely sudden illness. The heartfelt condolences of everyone at Classic Jaguar go to Michael's wife, Lynn, and to his beautiful young children.Michael was just about as big a fan of the E Type Jaguar that you could ever meet - and just a hell of a nice guy.

- New Team CJ project under way. Modified 74 V12 roadster receives a 5 speed, IRS rebuild, trim work and full Team CJ suspension and brake upgrades.
- In the used parts/bargain basement. It seems we can't give the GTJ flywheels and torsion bars away. In fact people are trading their GTJ units against Team CJ products. Rather than sell the one GTJ flywheel we had been offering to raise money for charity (at $95.00), we seem to have collected an additional two units. The old stock GTJ torsion bars aren't moving either. How about $50.00 a set - as with the flywheels, all proceeds to the Hospice Austin. Someone please take them - they make the shop look untidy.
